Construction crews in final stretch to prepare Sand Point, King Cove for 2.5 gig internet speeds

Construction crews are quickly closing in on the finish line for work in Sand Point and King Cove. Consumers in the two communities are slated to receive 2.5 gig internet speeds by the end of 2023. Sand Point and King Cove will be the second and third communities to receive urban level speeds and affordable, unlimited data plans as part of GCI’s Aleutians Fiber Project.
