Alaska nonprofits have through November 15 to submit applications for GCI Gives 2021 funding year

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – GCI’s philanthropy program, GCI Gives, has opened the application period for its 2021 grant cycle. From October 1 through November 15, Alaska nonprofits have the opportunity to apply for funding from GCI, one of the state’s largest corporate philanthropic contributors.

GCI Gives’ contributions are focused in seven key areas: diversity and inclusion, cultural arts and innovation, education, healthy communities, youth, animals, and public safety. Since 2015, GCI has donated more than $10 million in cash and in-kind services to Alaska nonprofits.

This year, GCI has welcomed a new member to the GCI Gives staff. In her role as GCI Gives senior manager, Megan Mazurek will oversee the program’s daily operations and continue growing GCI’s relationships with Alaska nonprofits.
