GCI’s Maureen McCabe Moore promoted to senior leadership position
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Maureen McCabe Moore is joining GCI’s senior leadership team as Senior Vice President & Chief Customer Experience Officer. In her new role, Moore will review the company’s strategy initiatives through the lens of GCI customers and ensure GCI delivers the best customer experience possible in both urban and rural markets.
Moore began her career at GCI in 1997 as the company’s Advertising Manager. She has held a variety of positions since then, including 10 years as Vice President of Consumer Services, where she was responsible for the marketing and operations of GCI’s consumer products, and nine years as Chief Customer Experience Officer, where she led several successful cross-departmental teams. Moore also serves as the executive sponsor of GCI’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council and was a founding member of the GCI Women’s Network (GWeN).

In addition to her work at GCI, Moore serves on the Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) Board of Directors and its Executive Committee; is a co-chair of the Cable Center Customer Centric Consortium (C5); and serves on the Advisory Council for the Syndeo Institute. She was a member of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute Class 33 and named among the CableFax Most Powerful Women in 2022. Moore previously served on the Covenant House Alaska Board of Directors for 17 years and as mentor for the UAA College of Business and Public Policy. A graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in Business Administration, Moore was born and raised in Alaska, and currently lives in Anchorage.
