GCI is celebrating 907 Day, honoring Alaska’s unique spirit and community
GCI, Alaska’s largest telecommunications provider, is excited to celebrate 907 Day, honoring the vibrant community and unique spirit of Alaskans. Following a busy summer season, festivities are set for September 7 and will give Alaskans an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of their home and the people who make it special.
In honor of 907 Day, GCI will celebrate with a range of activities and special offers, including a 90-day free trial on GCI’s mobile and internet service. Additionally, customers who visit a local GCI store for an account review will receive 1,000 Alaska Airlines miles.
GCI is also partnering with several organizations across the state to offer exclusive deals to Alaska residents. On September 7 only, residents can enjoy the following benefits with proof of Alaska residency:
- Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward: 50% off admission
- The Anchorage Museum in Anchorage: Free admission
- UAF Museum of the North in Fairbanks: Free admission
- The Museum of the Aleutians in Unalaska: Free admission
- The Hames Center in Sitka: Free admission
“It’s incredible to see that there are so many other organizations across Alaska that feel the same way we do about our great state,” said GCI Senior Manager of Contributions and Events Tiffany Vassar. “We hope Alaskans can really take advantage of 907 Day and get out and see what our home state has to offer.”
“What better way to celebrate 907 Day than learning about Alaska,” said Cindy Vegetabile, Anchorage Museum Individual and Corporate Giving Manager. “We are excited to give Alaskans the opportunity to visit the Anchorage Museum for free by partnering with GCI and hopefully gain some new museum visitors in the process.”
GCI invites everyone to share their 907 Day celebrations on social media. Tag @gciak on Instagram to showcase your experiences and join in the collective celebration of Alaska’s extraordinary community.
